Higher mileage cars can develop creaking and groaning noises in the front suspension, particularly when coming to a quick stop. Inspection and replacement of any worn parts should correct this concern.
If your power steering pump is making noises or leaking, get it fixed ASAP or you will likely be replacing your alternator too. The alternator is located right below the P/S pump and if fluid drips into it it will short out the alternator, this has been occured many times.

I pulled over today in an area with a slight incline, and when I started to move forward it barely moved. I thought it was the transmission, like maybe first gear was going out, but when I turned off the A/C today it moved fine. Does the A/C run off the timing belt? Any ideas?

Best car i have had its got 269,956 miles and she still going have had no problems i cant fix very good car and im going to have it for a long time rather have this one than a new one.
Owned this auto for 12 years. Have had 2 problems, most of all it is important to continue to keep maintenance up, which is what I do. About 3 years ago replaced alternator and battery. Having to replace the starter today on 10-8-12. Overall this is the best auto I have owned. This is a low replacement auto. Runs exceptionally well. When I do get another auto I want a Lexus.
