Temperature blend and recirculation doors commonly fail, which can cause the AC modes not to change or the temperature to be different on the left and right sides. If replacing blend air doors, a recirculation door, a door link, or a sub-assembly housing, new heating, ventilation and AC (HVAC) sub-assemblies are available that improve reliability.

The power window motor commonly fails in the front and rear doors. This may require replacement of the complete window regulator assembly which will include the window motor.

Electrical contacts in the tail lamp housing tend to break or melt, which can cause the brake lights to fail or work intermittently. Complete inspection of the tail light housing and bulbs is recommended before replacing any parts.

what needs to be serviced and how?

I was pulling out of drive when jeep suddenly died, no noise, no hesitation, just died. Now it won't restart, but it has fuel and gets spark. It cranks but won't start, it acts like it is either getting no spark or no fuel.

The airbag control module can fail prematurely due to electrical noise beyond the tolerance it was designed for. As a result the front airbags, side airbags, and/or seatbelt pretensioners could deploy inadvertently while the vehicle is being operated, increasing the risk of personal injury and/or a crash. Dealers will replace the airbag control module and front and/or side impact sensors as required to correct this concern.

A component in the air bag control module may fail causing the front airbags, side curtain airbags, and/or seatbelt pretensioners to deploy inadvertently while the vehicle is being operated. Inadvertent deployment of the airbags may increase the risk of injury and the possibility of a vehicle crash. Dealers will install a supplemental wire harness to the airbag control module to correct this concern. The Chrysler recall number is M35.
