The pedestrian warning system alarm appears on the dash every time I start up. I have not had any bumps with pedestrians, and the message did go out after a car wash, but has since come back and is always on. Is there a way of accessing the ecu to reset this alarm.

On certain vehicles the accelerator pedal arms were incorrectly assembled. Causing the clearance between the accelerator and the brake pedal to be reduced. This may cause you to step on both the pedals simultaneously and cause a crash. The pedal may also get stuck on the pedal stop, causing a dangerous situation. Dealer will inspect and replace accelerator pedal assembly. The Jaguar recall # is R847
