1997 Jaguar XK8 Problems
The cup holder in the front center arm rest is flimsy and may break, making it impossible to close the cup holder assembly.
Problems when opening or closing the convertible top may be fixed by flushing the hydraulic fluid and replacing it with an improved Jaguar fluid.
The thermostat may stick partially closed resulting in an engine to overheating condition. Replacement of the stuck thermostat should correct this problem.
1997 Jaguar XK8 Questions
Replaced front speed sensors -lights still on-then replaced rear wheels with ones off front--still on. Pattern is inconsistent--sometimes at starting on-then goes off-but most of time on. Sometimes when not on, will come on and I feel a very slight slipping sensation.

Need shop that understands suspension and can for reasonable cost replace my aluminum subframe and upper control arm bushings. I have parts ready.
Does the entire transmission have to be replaced? Seems to be common w/ this car. Looking for options and suggestion as to AMCO or the like to do the repair and estimated costs. Thanks in advance.

overall a great sports car very good handleing but a bit underpowered the front shock supports bushings ,the rubber compound is very weak and starts to dicintergrate after 50 to 60k miles making a clunking noise up front , ohte r than this issue i love my xk8
