1997 Jaguar XJ6 ProblemsCenter Arm Rest Cup Holder May Break
The cup holder in the front center arm rest is flimsy and may break, making it impossible to close the cup holder assembly.
The exterior door handles are of poor quality; they frequently break or do not offer enough leverage to open the door from the outside.
The upper bushings on the front shock absorbers are prone to failure and may produce a rattling/jingling noise as the car is driven over bumps.
1997 Jaguar XJ6 QuestionsWhere is the Starter relay located? Need to replace it. (1 answer)
Car runs fine and sometimes when I turn it off. It does not turn on. Battery is good & we think it is the starter relay but don't have a picture of where it is. Scared to get stuck again.
Leaks only when engine is running. No oil anywhere on top of motor. Leaks a quart in a mile. Leaves a trail of oil on the road. Big puddle where I park
car was running fine just got it so all the codes had cleared no check engine light on . then I ran over something it was a loud bang ad the car rolled to a stop no .more power no starter no dash lights .I replaced the neutral safety switch on the tranny .still nothing ??
