Passenger Frontal Air Bag Inflator Ruptures On Deployment

The passenger frontal air bag inflator may rupture on deployment, causing metal fragments to come through the air bag and injure occupants. Dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag assemblies free of charge to resolve the concern.

Driver's Frontal Air Bag Does Not Inflate Properly

A chemical enhancer required for second stage deployment of driver's side frontal air bags may be missing. This would result in the driver's frontal air bag not deploying properly in certain crashes. Dealers will replace the driver frontal air bag module free of charge to resolve the concern.

Fuel Leak From Fuel Tank Area

Vehicles equipped with a 5.0L gasoline engine are being recalled because a fuel leak can develop in the area of the fuel tank due to a cracked flange. This may result in an abnormal fuel smell or in fuel leakage onto the ground. This leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, may result in a vehicle fire. Jaguar dealers will replace the affected fuel tank fuel outlet flange to correct this concern.
