2005 Infiniti FX35 Problems
Started noticing a grinding noise from the right front when cornering at low speed. Eventually the noise became constant at low speed. Diagnosed by putting it on a lift, spinning the wheel and wiggling the tire back and forth. Replaced wheel bearing assembly.
Popped open hood to find coolant sprayed all over the top of the engine. Hoses appeared intact. Coolant reservoir was empty. Radiator cap looked fine.
Diagnosed problem by bringing the engine to operating temperature and watching the coolant spray out of the radiator.
Issue was the radiator was cracked along the top (where it is plastic). Replaced the radiator.
2005 Infiniti FX35 Questions
I recently heard from an ex Infiniti service person that now works at a break shop that the massive deteriation of my dash with bubbles and holes is a factory defect. Anyone heard this?
Is it necessary to replace Radiator when it leaks? I'm told I have many cracks in it and that I can either order manufacturers replacement or a generic one which runs approximately 25% less as a job with labor included...which would you recommend?
There is a paperclip jammed in the track & I Can't Adjust the seat

2005 Infiniti FX35 Reviews
Before buying this car, I was in the market for a sports car (i.e. Porshe, Audi, Bmw,etc.) However, my wife decides to tell me she was pregnant. I thought my dreams were shattered, and oh came the fx35. An excellent cross between sports car and suv! I assure you, you will not be disappointed! Holla Regards, Alex L.
Perhaps the perfect SUV. Not too big, not too small, drives and handles like a sporty car. It looks as good now as it did four years ago.
