2010 Honda Pilot Problems

The front brake rotors can warp and cause a vibration when braking. The rotors will need to be machined or in cases where they are worn to thin, replaced to correct this issue.

On certain models a leaking side marker light wire harness can cause a water leak inside the vehicle. Resealing the wire harness where it goes through the body into the cabin area should stop the leak.

Noise and judder can develop from the rear axle due to differential fluid breakdown. Replacing the fluid will commonly correct this issue.

I had to have both front rotors replaced at 40K miles because of warped rotors. Now dealer says I need front compliance bushings need to be replaced. is there a correlation here? rotors were replaced under warranty.

After change of tyre, my indicator lights on the dashboard are permanently on - ABS, VSC and VTM4. What is wrong?

There is a power steering leek. The dealer is going to replace the rack. They gave no explaination. This seams severe, should I question this repair and should I make sure they do an alignment.

2010 Honda Pilot Recalls

During manufacturing, some of the metal rivets used to secure components of the driver's airbag may not have been installed. A missing rivet could alter the performance of the airbag during deployment, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Dealers will inspect the driver's airbag module and replace it if necessary.

The stitching that secures the end of the lap section of the driver and front passenger seatbelt may be incomplete or missing. As a result, the seatbelt may detach from the anchor webbing, increasing the risk of personal injury in a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the affected seatbelts as necessary. The Honda recall number is R95.

2010 Pilot has 2 leaking rear shocks. Fladaboe Honda in Irvine said I carried/towed too much. Wife's kid driver has never towed, carried or off roaded. Trailer hitch and chain holder still fresh paint. They said I carried heavy loads of wood because they found small splinters in the rear carpet.
