1995 Ford Windstar Repair and Maintenance

A guide to problems, costs, maintenance and repair for your 1995 Ford Windstar

1995 Ford Windstar Problems

Warped front brake rotors may cause the steering wheel to shimmy when the brakes are applied. Our technicians tell us the brake rotors and pads should  be replaced to correct this concern.

The engine oil pan gasket can develop a leak. Leaking oil may accumulate on the exhaust system resulting in a burning smell. Replacing the gasket should correct this leak.

White smoke coming from the exhaust and an illuminated Check Engine Light could indicate the head gasket has blown.

I found out that Ford had actually recalled the motor because ALL the head gaskets were bad.. but they failed to notify customers of the recall. There are a couple dozen other recalls on the same model as well... Oh.. After I had the motor replace...

My windstar is breaking 450,000 miles i've used it for work and play, when i had problem with it, it was my neglect for not taking care of the problem sooner. Its starting to lose power but that expected with this much wear and t...

Now I think we're having an issue with the ex...
