Mustang Convertibles: Rear Window Glass Comes Loose

The adhesive holding the glass convertible window gives out and the window delaminates from the outer convertible shell. I used 3M VHB 2-sided adhesive tape (the same type that is used to hold glass panels to the outside of skyscrapers) to hold the window back in. It worked great, but long term effectiveness is still unknown.

No start and theft light flashing, due to damaged wiring.

the pins will pull out of the connector for the transceiver ring, the connector is under the dash right above where your shins are.the wires pull out due to tilting the steering wheel and not enough slack in the harness.

Creak/pop noise when turning

A creak/pop noise while turning may mean that updated steering rack bushing tubes need to be installed.

2000 Ford Mustang Reviews

I own a 2000 mustang and it's been a very reliable car. It has around 140,000 miles on it and has required very little work. And I'm not a gentle driver,,,so if it can hold up to me then it's a well made car. The body style is very attractive to look at. And it delivers speed when I need it. I plan on keeping this car for the duration and replacing parts as needed. Good job Ford.
have had to replace front tie rods inner and outter and ball joints, air conditioning trouble ... compressor will not come on, good on everything else
2000 Ford Mustang drives and handles well on dry roads, good on wet roads, has a little sway at higher speeds but still handles well has good response in body sway. Good gas mileage, quiet engine some road noise inside cabin on some roads but otherwise quiet and comfortable with good quality tires. Suspension is firm and steering is responsive. Heating and air conditioning work well air conditi...
