Shifting harshness and shuddering issues related to the operation of the automatic transmission have been addressed by factory service bulletins. The shuddering can feel like the vehicle is being driven over rumble strips.
Intermittently, the key may not start the car or release from the ignition. If it is excessively worn, replace the key. If the new key doesn't work, replacing the lock cylinder including tumblers should correct this concern.
It is not uncommon or the power window motor and/or regulator to fail. In most cases the door panel will require removal to determine the exact failure.

2000 town / country. I drive for about 5-10 min runs good then if I come to a stop or driving and let go of the gas pedal van shuts completely down lights and all. strats back up but rpm very low wants shut off but I keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running then it's ok afther a min or two?????
This van is just great! Only after 206,000 miles have we needed to do any repairs-(waterpump and radiator). The body is clean and straight. Even though it's never seen the inside of my garage, the paint still shines. The interior is only slightly worn with no cracks, splits, fades, or tears. All features and accessories work properly. We drive it every day, and still rely on it to visit family ...
Original owner since October 1999. Runs great with 148,000 miles on it. Only replaced V-belt (serpentine), water pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, brakes, rotors, one rear brake drum. Headliner is sagging. Original engine, transmission, A/C, radiator, fuel pump, master cylinder, hoses.
