2000 Chrysler Concorde Problems

Starting Issues and Trouble Code Due to Defective Cam/Crankshaft Sensor

When a no start condition is caused by a faulty camshaft or crankshaft sensor, related fault codes stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) should not be trusted. Our technicians tell us that under certain conditions a fault code can be stored for the "good" sensor. Care should be taken to properly diagnose this condition.

Damaged Cam Position Sensor May Cause Engine Problems

A damaged cam position sensor (or its wires and connector) can cause intermittent stalling, stumbles, or hard starting.

Recall on brake master cylinder due to brakes dragging when pedal is not pressed

There was a recall on the brake master cylinder in order to fix a problem that causes the brakes to drag when the brake pedal is not pressed. If the brakes drag, they will fade, causing overheating and increased stopping distance. The master cylinder is replaced under the recall.
