2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Questions

we have a 2007 chevy 3500 hd pu with a crank stop crank stop no start (1 answer)

with key turned to start the engine cranks and stops all by itself

what is causing the exhaust filter to be plugged in less than 100 miles (1 answer)

The problem occurs around 100- 150 miles. I have put on a new exhaust filter , new airflow sensor, new air filter, new plug end to airflow sensor and I am still having problems that chevy mechanic can't fix

Rear wheel bearing adjustment (1 answer)

The rear axle nut is locked in place with a key and snap ring. I snugged the nut up until all play was removed and then backed off the nut to the first key way alignment. I am looking for a posted, proper adjustment.

Possible Under Hood Electrical Fire

The heated washer module under the hood could overheat due to excessive current draw. Under certain conditions, this could result in an under hood fire. This previous recall attempt in 2008 to repair this concern did not have the expected success. Dealers will now permanently disable and remove the heated washer module to correct this concern. This recall is expected to begin on June 20, 2010.

Possible Under Hood Electrical Fire

The wiring to the washer system heater may overheat due to a failure in the heater module. This could cause other electrical features to malfunction, smoke to develop, and an electrical fire could result. Dealers will install a wire harness with an inline fuse to protect the washer heater module. This recall is expected to begin on September 12, 2008. The General Motors recall number is 08048.

crew cab with dual wheels, has plenty of power from the duramax diesel. For a heavy truck it rides and drives great. Fuel milage is aroud 15 mpg when im pulling boat or camper its about 12 mpg. The only complaint was the small mirrors that i switched.
