The fuel level sensor in the fuel tank may fail causing erratic fuel gauge operation. Our technicians tell us that on high mileage vehicles you may wish to replace the complete fuel pump module assembly if this condition occurs.

The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.

Illumination of the Check Engine Light can be caused by a loose or worn gas cap.

This is a good one. I have been a ASE tech for 25 years and this one has got me. I am diagnosing the 4x4 system on a 1999 blazer ls with a auto 4x4 system. The diagnosis would be straight forward if there was a wire in pin 13 at the ALDL connector. pulled the connector and no pin, no orange wire ...

trans. fluid leaking on driveway and was told the Transmission cooler lines had to be replaced. need to know if it' something I can do, if special tools are requed, etc.

Drove about 70 miles roundtrip when upon entering town had sudden Total oil pressure loss and knocking come from engine. NO previous leaks and oil levels fine when checked about one month previous to incident. Truck has been running Great before this...??????
