1990 Chevrolet 3500 Pickup Problems
Power brake systems using "hydro-boost" may leak power steering fluid from the hydro-boost unit located behind the brake master cylinder. Replacement of the hydro-boost unit is the common repair to correct this concern.
The intake manifold gasket may develop and external engine oil or coolant leak. In some cases, an internal coolant leak may occur causing coolant to mix with the engine oil. Running the engine with a coolant/oil mix may result in engine damage. Replacing the intake manifold gasket should correct this issue.
The inside and outside door handles are prone to breaking.

I have bled the clutch slave and still have no clutch .How can I tell if the master cylinder is the problem. There is a little clutch but not enough to drive it. Had this trble before but bleeding slave cured it .could the slave line have rust in it and what is the cost per part? THKS BEN 1989 yr
we have power to all the wires on the disturber but the purple wire, the engine will turn over but will not start what can we do now?

Overall it's been a good truck the problems are these, radio, did replace hydroboost, driver side seat padding failed early, power window motor replace, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets but again overall its been a reliable and good driving truck with the 454 and automatic, the engine and chassic have around 160 thousand miles and have been worked on for dependable service.
