Intake Manifold Gasket May Leak Coolant or Engine Oil

The intake manifold gasket may develop and external engine oil or coolant leak. In some cases, an internal coolant leak may occur causing coolant to mix with the engine oil. Our technicians tell us that operating the engine  with a coolant/oil mix can result in internal engine damage. Replacing the intake manifold gasket should correct these leaks.

Coolant Leak & Engine Overheating

Dealers will inspect the fuel tank for wear and install a spacer between the fuel tank and body, as well as replace leaking tanks free of charge to resolve the concern.

Reclining Seats Create Pinch Hazard

The easy entry recliner seat operation may allow fingers or hands to get caught and pinched within the recliner mechanism. Dealers will install a protective cover over the recliner mechanism free of charge to resolve the concern.

Rear Axle U-Bolt Nuts Loosen

The nuts for the U-bolts that secure the rear axle to the frame may loosen and detach, causing the axle to shift and disrupt proper control of the vehicle while driving. Dealers will check the U-bolt nut torque and re-torque any loose U-bolts to the proper specification free of charge to resolve the concern.

I have a 1996 Chev C/1500 it has 295625 miles on it and runs like a dream. I have had to do a few repairs over the years but nothing major it has had synthetic oil since new I had a mechanic do a compression check and it is as new.
when i frist start it it hit and try to start but i turn the key off and try again and hit till it start
