The front turn signal and and daytime running light bulbs are prone to premature failure. Our technicians tell us that these bulbs can be very difficult to replace.
It is not uncommon for the sunroof to work incorrectly or not at all.
The steering wheel position sensor may fail, resulting in the service stability message being displayed.

added 87 octane for about 2 months and now I hear this knocking noise from my engine. What can I do to fix this
it has plenty of fluid,when i turn it off in park and wait a few minutes and restart the car it will go until i stop again
Car runs well after I added super octane fuel.. but I added High octane
fuel for a long trip and after 175 miles and a FILL UP (93 octane- supposedly) suddenly started "stuttering" again as I'd get toward 60- 70. Stopped and purchased STP fuel cleaner/additive..(the good stuff) NS ...
2005 Cadillac SRX Recalls
The weight on the key ring and/or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine and increasing the risk of a crash. In the event of a crash, if the key is not in the run position, the air bags may not deploy as expected. Dealers will provide two replacement key rings, and vehicles with slotted keys will receive key inserts to correct this concern. Note: Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring.

One problem after another from interior knobs breaking off to turnsignals out constantly and very very difficult to access to replace. to the moonview roof disconnenting when opening or closing. Never another GM in my driveway. This was the last.
The interior of the car was awful. Within one year my car was in the shop more times for cosmetic repairs than any car I've ever owned. The car repairs are overly priced.
