1995 Cadillac Seville STS Repair and Maintenance

A guide to problems, costs, maintenance and repair for your 1995 Cadillac Seville STS

1995 Cadillac Seville STS Problems

One or more heater & AC (HVAC) temperature and/or air delivery mode door actuator may fail, resulting in improper temperature or air delivery. If this occurs, fault code(s) should be stored in the HVAC control module which should assist in diagnoses.

The anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module may fail causing the ABS light to illuminate. Failed modules should be replaced to restore ABS operation.

The trunk pull down switch may fail causing the trunk lid not to close completely. Our technicians tell us that the failed switch can be replaced without changing the complete pull down motor assembly.

1995 Cadillac Seville STS Reviews

I got this car about 1 month ago and within this first month I have changed both the front and back brakes, put in a new battery and now my alternator just went! I absolutely love the way the car drives and how it is smooth. But the repairs are costly.

I have 163,000 on my 1995 STS. Still drives & handles like it did when it was new. Did have transmission problems at 90,000..had speed sensor & torque convert replaced..had to have the solenoid sensor for trans replaced around 40,000 but still under warranty. Have had a oil leak for about a year so plan to repair that & drive a few more years..still looks good.

the right brake light fills with water, center trunk light never works, tires are pricey
