The cost is $18,000ish and $19,000ish with a 36/36 warranty? I check CarFax for the history. Shows it was a lease and had 3 prior owners. Each kept the maintenance up. No history of accidents or concerns. Is this a good buy?

Driver's Frontal Air Bag Inflator Ruptures And Sprays Metal Fragments

The driver's frontal air bag inflator may deploy the air bag with excessive pressure, resulting in the inflator rupturing and causing metal debris to be sprayed onto vehicle occupants. Dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag free of charge to resolve the concern.

Engine Timing Bolts May Loosen And Break

The bolts that secure the housing for the variable camshaft timing adjustment unit can loosen over time and possibly break, causing engine damage and engine stalling. Dealers will replace the four bolts for both intake and exhaust timing units free of charge to resolve the concern.

Potential Dead Battery or Electrical Fire

The fuel filter on vehicles with a diesel engine is equipped with an electric heater to warm the diesel fuel in cold climate conditions. This heater could experience and electrical overload and fail to turn off as designed. Having the fuel heater stay on while the ignition is off could result in a dead battery. The heater could also overheat and potentially cause and electrical fire. Dealers will replace the diesel fuel filter heater on affected vehicles to complete this recall.
