2002 Audi A4 Quattro Problems

Fluid Leak From Transmission Output Shaft Seal

A fluid leak may develop from the propeller shaft seal on the rear of the transmission. Our technicians tell us that replacing the seal will commonly correct this concern.

Various Probelms Caused by Clogged Plenum Tray Drain

Clogged drains can allow rainwater to accumulate in the plenum tray (at the base of the windshield). The water may leak into the vehicle's interior, brake booster, or electrical components, which can lead to major problems. Our technicians recommend keeping the tray clear of leaves, pine needles, and other debris.

Maintain fuel quality to avoid misfires and CEL illumination

Fuel quality must be maintained to avoid engine misfire problems; the misfires may cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate.

Latest issue cost $...

My repair bills for 2005- $2592.00, 2006- $3906.00, 2007 $2660.00, 2008 $1557.00, 2009 $2407.00 TOTAL $ 13106.00/ 246492 kms = 5.3 cents per KM This is double the recommended average br CAA Canada. Also my reapirs woudl have been much higher if I let AUDI dealer do this.
