Carrier Bearring on 1995 Dodge Ram 1500

Is it difficult to change a carrier bearring in my driveshaft of my 1995 Dodge 4x4 extended cab pickup? I've been reading about it, what does "pressed on" mean?? What do I use? Is there a special tool?? If I don't do it, would you happen to know about how much it would cost me to have a shop do it?

The carrier bearing is fairly easy to change with the right equipment. You will need a hydralic press in order to get the bearing on and off. A shop should charge you around $75.00 to $125.00 labor.
