The carpet on the driver's side and rear passenger (behind driver) has become very wet. We have had lots of rain. Has never leaked before. What should I check??

MasterIt is harder to find a leak when things are wet. Try to dry out the carpets as best you can. Inspect the door jamb rubber seals. Check they are not damaged. Also check that perhaps a seat belt or something was not jammed in the door seal especially if there was not a leak before.
Next sit in the car with a flash light and get a friend to spray water at the doors with a garden hose and see if you can see water entering the car. If you can't try pulling back the carpets and repeating the water test.Flag ThisLike | 1 person likes this1 -

Hondalover February 09, 2010, 15:00ReplyRookieDid you ever resolve this problem? I have a 2007 CRV and the floors are constantly wet. we have had lots of snow, lately. I took it to a body shop that did a water test and they could not find where the water was coming in.
