my car wont turn over at all.when you try to start it,the fan comes on and thats it like its in diagnostic mode.could ignition switch be bad? the car has bad tranny thats stuck in drive as soon as you start it but now it wont start to take to get repaired.please help

Sorry, i need more info, is the battery for sure fully charged? Does the starter make any noise at all? Sure, the ign switch could be broken but there's more to it to consider. The fan (assume you mean radiator fan) may come on if the battery's low or if the relay's stuck on. If the A/C is switched on that would run the fan too when you switch the ign on. The trans problem sounds like it has a valve body problem (that's internal), or possibly a shifter problem but how's the fluid? Clean & clear or burnt, up to level? I really like those V6 MX-6's so I hope I can be of some help..

Im having the problem ii hit the ditch with no damage just got stuck we boosted it but still doesnt turn over is there a senser swich ?
