My 1991 Honda Accord Lx is having a problem. I put a new fuel pump in it, but when I start it up it will run for a few minutes and then it start to sutter and the battery indicator light comes on and it shuts off and the battery indicator is on. What could be the problem?

When you replaced the fuel pump, did you replace the fuel filters as well? The fuel pump cannot push the fuel past a badly clogged fiilter. I n addition there are many thing that can cause these symptoms. A loose fitting air cleaner box and / or hoses. (The Mass Air Flow Sensor must have a tightly sealed intake system). The battery indicator light may be coming on because of the low engine RPM, a loose belt or defective generator.
