2005 Toyota Sienna Question: Car won't start?

tan5290, Newport Beach, CA, August 05, 2012, 21:07

I replaced the battery a year ago, cleaned the corroded negative battery terminal. The car has been fine until today, it wouldn't start. Lights and radio came on, but engine wouldn't turn over. After about 5 tries, it came on. Still a bit sluggish turning over.

could be cable issues or bad battery again. what brand battery did you buy? batteries tend to go bad at temp change time like the summer heat

Thanks for your reply. I had my battery tested it was good to go, but the negative battery terminal is rusted, so I don't know if thats the problem? I tried jump starting it, no go though.
