1990 Cadillac Seville Question: car won't start

my car has power but it won't start -

Check that the starter motor is receiving the proper signals from the ignition switch, and that the battery cables are OK. -

I have a 1990 cadillac seville and my ignition switch went bad and this is what it did.. The lights and everyhting on the inside worked but it wouldnt crank -
