2004 Pontiac Grand Am Q&A

2004 Pontiac Grand Am Question: Car won't start

One year ago I had the Neutral Safety Switch replaced because car wouldn't start. Now one year later I am having what seems to be the same problem. Could it just simply be the starter or will I have to have this safety switch replaced again. And will this be a yearly repair? -
Answer 1
Sometimes switches will last the life of the car and as with any part they can fail at any time or it could be the starter better off having a tech diagnose this to avoid changing parts for no reason. -
