Question: car won't accelerate when I push the gas pedal.

car does move but slowly. In neutral rpm won't go higher than 2000.

    Is the check/service engine light on? If so, there will be a code stored. Knowing what code/s is stored will be of great help.

    There is a yellow icon light on that says check.

    That light is telling you your car's computer has found something wrong. If you bring it to a shop they will be able to plug into the diagnostic link and find out what code has been set. From there they can diagnose and test to find out what has happened to your car, and repair it.
