I accidently was revving the engine to much. The car was working fine. The clutch is burnt. It has that distinct smell. I went to work, got off about 8 hours later and the car will barely accelerate at all. I believe the clutch may have slipped. If I try to accelerate I'll go about 5mph. It's basically acting like it's in neutral. What do I do?
Car won't accelerate. Have a manual. Car just revs and a burning smell occurs. on 2009 Kia Rio

Not much choice! Tow to repair shop, get clutch assembly replaced. After repair dont "accidently" rev. the engine too much again!
