This morning, my car will start but will go forward. It is reving and working, but it will not GO. For a few weeks now, the car has been having a little trouble moving through the gears, especially moving from parking to driving. Though it is an automatic, it has been making a noise like a standard that is being shifted too late, and then eventually catches on. Could this be a matter of fluid?

Anything is possible when it comes to transmissions. First, you need to check the fluid level and condition. How long has it been since a fluid service has been done? If the fluid is low or in poor condition, it can cause the complaint you are experiencing. Is that the only problem, realistically if the transmission is already making noise, not shifting correctly and now does not move; you may have damaged internal components. I would recommend to diagnose the transmission operations at an approved facility like ours and have the technician advise you on your options.
