Question: car will not stay on

 Rookie

when my cars in park it stays on but when i put it in gear it will not stay on unless im pressing the gas whats the problem?

    It sounds like your engine is not running correctly. You need to have your engine inspected and have its performance dialed in. When was your last complete tune-up?

    my saturn did the same thing last year... i had to replace the alternator
