 Rookie

We bought it used 2 years ago. all this began when weather got cold, had it towed, they replaced the fuel pump and filter, ran beautifully for a day, now will not start again, it turns over, but will not actually engage to start up. Is not the battery , starter or alternator. Now they are saying maybe it is an electrical problem....any ideas? This is really baffling us. Anyone else encountered this problem? Help!!! Thanks.
