car will not start on 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier

i changed the motor on the fan and put it back together and know it wont crank over at all on the dash the theift light blinks on and off how do i reset it

In order to reset the theft system the theft light must flash for 10 minutes and then go off. After the theft light goes off turn the ignition off for 10 seconds then try and start the engine. If the theft light continues to flash after performing the reset procedure on your 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier you may have a problem with the theft system.
