Hi John, Have you checked for any trouble codes stored in the engine control module? Have you double checked everything you removed and re-installed while replacing the starter?

You might have a fuel pump problem. the switch to start the pump is located in the drivers side door handle and leads to a sensor in the engine. If it is any of these parts you won't know til you take it in. Beetle strikes again!
