1992 Honda Civic

Question: Car starts only from a cold start.Difficulty starting when hot.

Car needs maybe 20 minutes to cool before restarting. When it does start, I smell gasoline. Could it be a blown head gasket. Expenisive?

    does it run hot? cold be injector or inj driver issue.

    no, the car does not run hot. Just spoke to a local mechanic and he suspects the distributor. The car does not skip and there is no smoke from the exhaust, so my mechanic doesn't believe it is the head gasket. Any more thoughts? Thanks for your input.
