 Rookie

I have a 2006 Ford Taurus SE with problems where it cuts out on the freeway or streets like the key gets turned off. Lucky I'm able to pull over to the shoulder, turn the key to "off" and restart the car every time (happened four times in two days on streets and freeways). Could it be a fuel or ignition problem? The car just runs very roughly over 60 mph. afterwards. Lucky for me, I purchased an aftermarket warranty where I only pay $100 for repairs no matter how much it costs..... HELP!
