1994 Mazda MX-3 Question: Car shuts off while driving

Visitor, 1.8L V6, Spanaway, WA, June 22, 2011, 10:52

While driving my car shut off. Everything shuts down . But will restart . Has been doing this more often. Could my security system cause this. I also have a drain on my battery while it sits for a short time. Are they connected. Machanic's can not find the problem .

    Security systems don't typically cause stalling. They do cause issues starting. And, a security system can cause a drain on the battery.

    I just don't know what to make of the stalling based off of your statements. You could have a loss of ignition spark or fuel system pressure. A tech needs to check the problem as it occurs to see what element is missing.
