How long after you put gas in it did this problem start? You may have picked up some bad gas, code p0172 is system too rich, this means its getting too much fuel, this could be caused by a numer of things.
1.oxygen sensor. 2.leaky fuel injector. 3.pressure regulator and so on. seek a reputible mechanic for propper diagnostics..

well its hard to say, check fuel perssure with propper guage, if it is lower than spec then you could have either a leaky injector, weak fuel pump bad regulator, check vacuum lines and look for loose wiring connections...also a faulty MAP sensor could cause problems too..Also where the spark plugs installed with correct gap and heat index? start by dubble checking the plugs and wires, even if parts are new doesn't they can't be faulty from the factory....

If this is true, If there really is gas in the oil that is a sign of a faulty injector, that is leakink excess fuel in to the oil base...you will have to locate the bad injector and replace it,
