Has a "Service Engine Soon/Check Engine Light " come on? Its likely something got disturbed during the timing belt replacement but there is also a possibility that this stalling is totally unrelated. Definitely best to get it checked out by the people that last worked on the car and least get them to confirm that the stalling is unrelated to the work just carried out. Does the car start and drive normally otherwise?
