car probl..... on 1992 Volkswagen Jetta

my 92 vw jetta 2.0 4 cyl. has a rough idle barely runs, loss of power, sounds like its misfiring Please help!

ANSWER by on April 01, 2011 Try a local qualified technician for first hand help... Click that link. An engine performance diagnostic test needs to be performed. Spark plugs, ignition components such as wires and coils can be at fault. The vehicle also could have a vacuum leak causing idle difficulties. Many possibilities exist as to the source of your issue, so only a qualified technician performing a diagnosis will be able to give you a clear picture of what's going on. Good luck.
