2001 Ford Mustang GT Q&A

2001 Ford Mustang GT Question: car performance

When I let off the gas while driving my car, the car jerks a couple of times. What is causing this? -
Answer 1
It would be difficult to know without driving and inspecting the vehicle. Could be motor mounts, transmission, ignition misfire etc. Do you have any warning lights on or flashing? -
Answer 2
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 2001 GT. IT ONE OF TWO THINGS, ITS EITHER THE FUEL FILTER WITCH IS LOCATED UNDER THE CAR(EASY FIX) OR ITS THE FUEL PUMP WITCH IS LOCATED IN THE GAS TANK. I WOULD RECOMEND CHANGING THE FUEL FILTER FIRST. ITS CHEAPER AND TAKES ABOUT A HALF HOUR TO CHANGE. -
