Question: car overheats

 Rookie

i have changed the head gasket and water pump and thermostat but still overheats is there a wat to power flush the system at home? is so is there a chemical best for this .i foung ice like crystals when i did the gasket and cleaned the best i could in motor and head.have to do at home caar is all apart as i am doing resto

    Is there an excess amount of water coming out of your exhaust?Did you flush the radiator? Also an over heating problem could make the water pump go bad also.

    When you changed the head gasket did you send the head to a machine shop to have it checked and serviced?
    There's no such thing as "ice crystals". That is excessive corrosion do to lack of proper servicing. I suspect that you didn't perform the things needed to prevent overheating.
