I have replaced the thermostat, water pump, hoses and radiator is less than a year old and the car loses antifreeze from the radiator causing the car to overheat. I was told that I need a replace the moter and the head gasket. Any thoughts and how much should it cost to replace a head gasket?

You shouldnt have to replace the motor or head gasket. The usual cause is something small, inexpensive or both. You may need to go back over your work just to make sure. You can check the belt routing and thermostat. The spring always goes in the engine and maybe backwards. Look for constriction of hoses, radiator or fan blockage. Look in your floor under the dash and see if there is water. Other causes could be igition timing, or cooling system blockage.
