Question: car overheated within minutes of starting, now won't start even with a jump

Chrysler Fan, 3.5L V6, Stokesdale, NC, January 21, 2013, 06:04

drove less than a block when overheating was detected, let it sit for about 30 minutes & it started right up, the engine sputtered and quit, within 10 seconds the battery was completely dead, will not start now even aided by a jump

    tow to shop and get diag could be several things

    Thank you, I've spoken to several Chrysler techs., they all say its the engine, but I plan to have it towed to have it looked at

    if it was overheating it could be a stuck t stat or a head gasket problem I would have the cooling system pressure tested and go from there
