I had the idler pulley come out when I was driving down the highway. The car overheated and then started smoking. We replaced the idler pulley, and restarted the car to get it to a rest stop. About ten feet from a parking spot, the car stopped, we pushed it in the rest of the way and now won't start again. Any suggestions? The engine is getting fuel to it and it starts, but doesn't turn over.

You may have damaged the engine when it overheated. This should be towed to a shop and inspected, driving it may only damage it further.
