my car just started to do the unusual, the little beep it does after locking the car is going off like it's unlocking and locking right away, before this happpened, driving around and parking it, i would lock it but it wouldn't make that beep when i lock it, so would this go away? also i live in minus 30 degree weather. may be a factor? because i have to block heater.

Is the hood open even slightly when you are using the block heater, because this will trigger the alarm.

This is a symptom of the many problems I am having....first I would check the door latches & hatch latch. If the door closes to tight or too loose it will cause the alarm to set itself(even when you are in motion) Imagine rush hour traffic on a rainy Friday, a five mile drive with the alarm going off while you are in motion! Also, because the door locks still were acting strange. Apparently liquid was spilled on my steering column. This shorted out the hazard/blinker/cruise control thingy. It also control how the alarm & locks, ect function. I am expecting to get the car back in the next couple of days... I will keep you posted
