My car keeps stalling/hesitating when I stop for lights, to cross intersections. We have replaced cap and rotor and map sensor. Before we throw any more money into this what else could it be?

The next money you spend should be for a diagnosis, so as to avoid replaced non-needed items.

I have 98 sebring coupe and had same issue that started after I paid to have it tuned up. Turns our the cap is hard to remove and if forced will ruin electrode to the distributor. Mechanic broke it, then jimmied it with some glue causing intermittent short. Replaced the entire distributor (not too hard to do yourself) and VOILA. No more issue and has run great > 1 yr now. Hope this helps you.

We did the smae thing...replaced the distributor. We had hooked it up to computer but it would not throw a code. Now it runs great!
