my car will start and go but when I am at a traffic light or stop sign it will cut off and I have to re-start the car. Whenever the car is not in motion it will shut down.

MasterCheck all the basics, i.e tune-up parts, filters, vacuum leaks etc. Also make sure that the throttle body is clean and that the idel air motor is working correctly. Do you have a check engine light on?
