1999 Volvo S70 Q&A

1999 Volvo S70 Question: car hesitates to start while cold

When the car has been sitting awhile especially while it is cold it does not want to start right away. The fault in the automatic gearbox light comes on but then the car will finally start after hesitation. When the car is driven and warmed up, starting it is not a problem. The vehicle only has 88000 miles on it. -
Answer 1
When it doesn't start, what are the symptoms? Does the engine crank over? Or does it start then stall out? Please provide some more info. -

It eventually always starts would I put my foot on the accelerator. I never had to do this before. It just does not start right away when it has been sitting for awhile. If the car has been driven, and the car is warm it will start right away. Thanks. -
