Question: Car hesitates before accelerating from the stop position.

My car occasionally hesitates when I accelerate after being at at a stop light. What is causing this?

    It could be so many things. Hard to comment without being able to experience the problem first hand or do some basic diagnostic tests. Even if a Check Engine light is not on there is a lot of information that can be read off a professional grade scan tool that saves doing a lot of intrusive tests.
